ParticipantSo, Kitty’s commute yesterday inspired a new FS Pointless Prize: The prize for the one that can claim… the best sock game!

Not only are we entering tights season, but all my best socks are too long to wear with knickers on warmer winter days. This will truly be a challenge.

ParticipantAnother suggestion for Beerneuring 2017, let’s go visit Atlas Brew Works, DC’s 100% solar-powered brewery located in Ivy City.
The Tap Room is open 4pm-10pm Monday through Thursday, 4pm-11pm Friday, 11am-11pm Saturday & 11am-10pm Sunday. Tours of the brewery are offered on Saturdays at noon, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm, no reservations required.
I’ll be taking a tour on January 7th, focused on sustainability but of course including tastings. Will report back!

Atlas is great. Highly recommended. And there’s a distillery open for tastings on Saturdays like two doors down.

Wait. Are you talking about the distillery right above them, the distillery up the hill, or the distillery around the corner?
It’s not entirely clear.

It is clear that I need to do more exploring around Atlas.

ParticipantJust joined and not sure if anyone has tried using Untapped to track the beers. It also has achievement badges for drinking x amount of German, British, or beers from other countries for more pointless prizes!

Here you go. This year’s Off-Season Coffeeneuring PP Rule Sheet, in its entirety:
Ride bikes.
Drink Coffee
Get awesome.Prize might be tea-related. We’ll see.
Wait what? After not doing coffeeneuring last year, trying beerneuring, finding out that after a huge effort some nerfers still passed me and won that, and me deciding to pass on beerneuring this year and try coffeeneuring instead, this? No MorningtonCrescent worthy rules? No complexity? No Starbucks shaming? Sigh.

ParticipantI would like to propose
The Pointless Pointless Prize
Yes, that’s right. Its the prize for the miles that do not count. It is the prize for the FS2017 participant who rides the most miles indoors on a trainer (Matt Aune is disqualified from this competition because well, we wanna see him outside).
This is only proposed – I cant munch the data. Does anyone wanna volunteer to do the code, or tell me how to do this. It does not look like I can create a Strava Club that reflects only trainer miles?
The award for so completely missing the point of Freezing Saddles will be something worthy of the achievement:

IIUC, manually entered outdoor rides will not be counted either. Yet you propose to exclude them from the pointless prize prize. As one of the leading “pushed the wrong thing on Strava” people, I resent this exclusion, and denounce it as unfair.
I am thinking we need to organize a protest. The revolution will not be tracked by GPS.
