    My wife told me our travel orders have come through, so if I can get a flight I will make the event. I should have a car (since I’m not getting any takers for a bike caravan to the event :p), no bike rack.

    I have a rack I can bring that holds 2 comfortably and 3 if necessary (I recently figured out how to transport my bike rack on my bike rack, so I can get it to the rendezvous).

    Komorebi and I formulated a plan. If she can borrow your bike rack, she’ll drive LSG. (Although she might buy one). I can drive Steve O and Kitty.

    Anyone know about the waitlist for the ride? Is it long? Does it move? Or is it hopeless to register at this point?

    Great! When and where shall we meet up? I didn’t know there was another LSG for sale.

    On the Facebook page for this event someone waned to sell their reg. As of aug 26

    Great! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. We’re having a string of bad luck on the transportation front (for once its good we don’t go anywhere)

    For what its worth, I’m up in Rosslyn. I suppose biking anywhere within a ~5 mile radius for a rendezvous wouldn’t be too detrimental before doing the full 100. :p

    Now I just need to continue to anxiously wait for news on my bike (either Furiosa’s return, or an update on her replacement)

    In that case, if anyone is like Komorebi and too hardcore to wear a pink jersey, battle jackets with lotsa spikes and patches are also acceptable.

    I was going to do Bike Arlington, but I can do WABA instead. Mine will be the previous model–pre-pink but nice sakura.

    its my first group ride… though i won’t be ridin w y’all century folks! Im planning to do 26 miles and eat and relax. (Or maybe 37 if i can switch).I hear a friend of a friend may ride with me. Anyone else you know doing a short ride?
