Definitely not a race. We even had time for multiple bike changes.

Yeah, well I’ll have you know I averaged a blazing 6.2 mph on that lap.
And I plan to get in your way again this year, so plpbblblblbbbnllpppll!!

I thought about this a year ago and didn’t go. Does anyone know how soon before the date one can still register? If the weather is reasonable I would like to do a few laps.

You can do walk up registration. IIRC, there’s no fee to register. It’s a donate what you’d like to support more women riding bicycles kind of thing.

I’ve been looking forward to this! Nothing helps with holiday-at-home-gluttony-guilt like waltzing into Christmas having just ridden 60+ miles!

Last year was my first and I went for the metric–it was a blast! I love a feed zone comprised mostly of cookies and pie! :D This year, weather permitting, I’d like to push last year’s distance/sanity limit and do 5 more laps for ~75.

I’ve even ordered a special kit for the occasion:

We’ll see if it makes it from China in time and/or this semi-tropical climate makes it too hot to wear for a few laps.

Well, bringing it from China will help to make future HP100s warmer:eek:

Just signed up. Did the “unsure how far I’ll ride” thing because I’m going to count the miles to and from to get to my own 100. Plus, it’s uphill home so I’ll need a spot of energy in reserve.

There is a very strong possibility that there will be a visit from Santa this year…
