    Sorry to hear about the crash and injury. :( An Oxon Hill rider photobombed you. Oh well they did put on the event and they do a great job. FYI, we used to whine about how we would be winning if the Oxon Hill Trail Club riders would join our National Bike Challenge team but I think we’re past that. They are on the team they want to be on, eleventh place nationally, pretty damn good! And we can win without them! IF HF SIGNS ON! I can’t remember his forum name, I only remember it would make a very secure password. Haha.

    It’s so easy to join the NBC and our team and if you’re on Strava, syncing up ALL YOUR RIDES from May 1 is a cinch! I recruited a guy on a group ride a couple of weeks ago. At the end of the ride he started using his smartphone and a minute later said “I’m in.” He was on our team and all his miles were synced. It really is that easy!

    Yes, he’s put on more than 2000 miles since May.

    I also sent out a email to my ad hoc cycling group, reminding then to join the NBC2015 & WAAS, how easy it is, and included a link to this thread. FYI.

    Awesome pictures! :D

    We were probably in the rear third of the 100 riders, eating up the sights and tomato sammiches.

    What a great ride that is. Incredibly scenic non-brutal route, solid support, and did I mention great food? (I’m very food motivated.)

    Let’s do it again next year!
