I’m posting this here first before I go to the the more trafficked DC Used Bicycle Marketplace on the Facebooks. Hopefully this will help me gauge interest I found a new bike that I’m lusting over and want to raise some funds toward it so it’s an easier pill for Mrs. Ian to swallow. The lovely Carolyn, keeper of bike funds.
Priced is $700, maybe a little flexible on this though, here’s a link to the specs and geometry https://www.bianchiusa.com/archives/2013/road/coast-to-coast/impulso/impulso-ultegra/
Briefly, it has 10 speed Ultegra rear derailleur, 105 front with FSA compact crank. Brakes, stem, seatpost are Bianchi house brand. The rear wheel is not original, and was replaced after I cracked it. It’s a Bontrager OEM wheel I picked up from Griffin cycles in Bethesda. The bike has been ridden, there’s scuffs, some scratches, cable rub on the head tube etc. It has about 10K miles on it. It’s on the 3rd chain, and bottom bracket was replaced at about 8000 miles. Complete overhaul and all cables were replaced/bars re-wrapped at Spokes Etc. shortly before that. Brakes have plenty of life, and the tires are Specialized armadillos with about 1000 miles. They look new.
AWESOME ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: I will also include a pair of matching celeste colored speedplay pedals, with cleats. I have a rack that attaches through the rear skewer and attaches to a seatpost clamp for full commuting awesomeness. Also, a pair of clip on fenders, SKS raceblade pro’s which are easy to adjust.
Here’s a picture with all goodies attached:
