Welcome back to the saddle Roger. I can really commiserate with you on this but if it’s any consolation getting back on the bike should be really rewarding and the ramp up time to back to normal at least from a fractured elbow was fairly speedy once I had served my time under doctors orders.

I’m very sorry to hear you were so sick. I very much hope you are back to good health; the cycling will come along with patience, but health is the most important. No snickering whatsoever from these quarters (although I don’t really see much besides the back of my eyelids at the hour you usually ride).

You survived and you lived to ride another day. No matter how hard it is, it will be a good ride.

    Welcome back, Bike Warrior.

Serving time is difficult once the cycling bug gets you. Welcome back!

Don’t worry, no one will see you at the ridiculous hours you commute.

    Seriously, welcome back.

Welcome back! And you’re coming back on a super warm February day. Go figure.

Take your time getting back into shape (though even in your weakened state you can still kick my a** on the trails).

Welcome back, sir. I know it isn’t easy to come back from stuff like that. I’m happy that you’re back riding. :D Keep up the good work. I think we all share a common goal of not sucking quite so much.

Welcome back! Does this mean you’ll only get to a herculean 13,000 miles this year?

Welcome back! I was off from Sept 17 to Nov 24 with the old broken collarbone trick, but it comes back quickly, maybe one day to recover for each day off, so you’ll be good as new by the first of May.

Welcome back, glad you feel better. Hope you see 20 lbs of weight loss as a silver lining.
