DDOT began to seriously study and east downtown PBL in 2015. For several years after that it was the subject of bitter controversy.
It is finally open on 9th street from Pennsylvania to Florida. I enjoyed riding it. It is decent piece of infrastructure, and riding it also reminded me of long discussions on Greater Greater Washington.

Thanks for this caveat. Though of course I try to be mindful of drivers failing to yield everywhere.
