Nothing like a $380,000 change order to brighten one’s day. The cost of this little project has ballooned to nearly $1 million.
Ah yes, the Potomac Yard brownfields site…the gift that keeps on giving.

Most likely.
The first picture below, shows the extent of the rail lines and Potomac Yard, just south of Crystal City.
In the photo below, the area just above the many bridges is the location of the new trail and park. The widest span shown in the picture was torn down and is where the trail is being installed.
