I saw your Team listed on my Strava feed, and thought team assignments were announced early. You definitely have the spirit!

    Thanks so much

Thanks all for joining the team promptly — we’re currently in 3rd place! https://freezingsaddles.org/ Feel free to edit the team name and pics — we’re all admins.

I’m tentatively planning to do a one-hour medium pace mountain bike ride at Fairland tomorrow early tomorrow before it thaws — 8am. Pretty good drainage this week plus we’ll get a hard freeze tonight so 8-9am should be good conditions. Two other guys from the bike shop might join (all very scrupulous social distancers). We meet behind the Gardens Ice house on the Prince George’s side. No drop — if the fast guys want to go ahead that’s fine, I’m happy to guide at the back. Coffee at Proteus (outside) following. Here’s a typical: https://www.strava.com/activities/4458857295

Sundays I usually go over to the shop at about 10am for coffee and then do an easy ride on the Anacostia trails for an hour or so, returning to shop before noon. If any body wants to meet up let me know. If the weather’s warm there are good outdoor lunch and drink spots along the bike trails.

Hi — I’ll be getting my morning caffeine at the bike shop starting at about 10am with ride to follow about 10:30 probably. Ample parking, easy ride from Greenbelt Metro. Outdoor seating for coffee although I can open up for restroom. Also OK to bring extra warm clothes and leave at shop. For the ride, I was thinking of Anacostia tributary bike trails, maybe 10-20 miles depending on how I feel. Return to shop by around noon probably. There is also good road riding in the farms nearby if anyone wants to go fast spin.
