Fairfax County has removed the purple bins for glass recycling because of covid19.

I used to take my glass to Arlington before Fairfax added the bins. Has Arlington removed theirs too?

Yesterday (Saturday 4/4) the purple bin in the parking lot of Mom’s grocery store in Alexandria (off Mt Vernon just S of the Arlington county line) was still open and accepting glass.

I don’t know about Arlington county bins.

The I-66 Transfer Station, as of Friday 4/3, still accepted glass, cans, paper, and cardboard recycling.
