Some of you may recall that upcoming was supposed to be the Phoenix Bikes Makers Ball. That is a significant fund raiser for the org – canceled. There was also another fundraiser (sorry I forget what it was) that also got canceled. That’s a significant lost of $$

Phoenix is closed to the public but they are still operating. The staff is still being paid. They are working remotely – and working with a small staff in the shop. No current youth programs. They managed to get relief from some bills.

They are attempting to fix their fund raiser flat. Raise money to keep operational and get through this.

They have received a lot of support. Please help Phoenix Bikes fix its fundraising flat.

Just to add to this – PB needs to raise $20,000 before the end of May to cover critical operational expenses. Fortunately, a local donor has put up $10,000 match to meet the challenge, and every dollar donated, through the end of May, will be doubled! http://Www.phoenixbikes.org/covid-19 to help!

Now, more than ever, we’re learning how much bikes mean to our well-being. However, Phoenix Bikes connects us to much more than a bicycle. From our serving as our local bike shop to providing community classes and development, it is at the fiber of our community. If you’ve had the opportunity of interacting with the youth at the Phoenix Bikes, you’ve been able to see how they’ve grown and developed, as future leaders, mechanics, and darn good human beings. The success of Phoenix Bikes is very near & dear to both mine & Judds heart & the DisasterJacks will be investing $1,000 in its mission (& right now, our investment is doubled!). I hope you will consider joining us!
