    Team 8, I’m Ted. I live in the Beacon Hill area of Alexandria. I ride to work most days, and I co-lead the Saturday morning shop ride from Conte’s in Old Town.

    I met Chris, Kellie and Mike tonight at the happy hour. Who else is out there?

    Nice to meet you all last night! Every now and then I’m reminded how crazy this whole thing is, mostly that it’s completely home grown. I wonder if there’s any other groups in the country that have something like this.

    I’m in Del Ray, and am also going to try to ride to work everyday. I also anticipate getting back into randonneuring by March and getting out for a couple 100K and 200Ks eventually. Also looking forward to checking out more of Alexandria. As I was heading out last night I met Rimas who is also up for a trip to a local brewery, coffee shop, donuts etc…

    Hi,
    I’m Rimas and also am a bike commuter. I usually try to get out and ride everyday. I will try and make the Saturday ride from Conte’s to try and meet up. I did meet Chris at the HH. Looking forward to meeting and riding with the rest of you.

    The pace usually averages out around 15mph. We do have a few regroup spots along the route, and the ride is a no drop ride.

    Sorry I couldn’t make it last night, but I like what I am hearing about brewery, coffee and shop rides. I was on the team last year led by Brian at Alexandria Conte’s, so looks like another year riding with that shop. Good to hear! I look forward to meeting everybody.
