Signs up saying the one lane bridge in Cabin John on MacArthur will be closed Oct. 16-17 from 9a-2p.

I’ve seen such signs before and the road isn’t closed, so YMMV

I would also like to report that the Erie Canalway Trail is in excellent condition almost in its entirety. A few root heaves in a couple of places, and some fun, single-tracking through the woods on occasion.
Recommended.

Lots of tree litter out on the roads and trails this morning. I almost got taken out by a very large branch on Key Blvd.

I moved a couple of big branches off the Custis Trail, but the wind is still going strong. Stay upright, everyone.
