    The National Bike Challenge (NBC) has seen the errors of their ways and this year 2019 they will again allow teams of any size. The challenge will run from May 1st through September. I want to revive the tremendously successful Washington Area All-Stars team. OK to characterize the group as a “group of friends”? I thought this was the closest fit of the options given. Possibly “other”? For those new to this forum, the NBC is a national challenge similar to Freezing Saddles. Not as much fun or as well run as Freezing Saddles but easier to win. :)

    Maybe “other” (it’s a pretty motley assortment). Does the choice have any bearing on how the team is categorized in the competition?

    No I didn’t start one yet. If I do, I’m going to call it a “group of friends” and I’m leaning towards naming it “Team Salovesh”.

    Love it, but maybe also throw DC in the name somewhere

    Will it be DC area geographic limited? As it has much less local area social aspect then Freezing Saddles and there are State competitions for geographic category.

    Looks like they’re having problems again this year. Only half of my mileage is showing up.

    Managed to figure it out. With a little luck, circumstances will change and I can start getting some noncommuting rides in.
