Please contact cvcalhoun ASAP to get yourself registered. The most likely reason you’re not registered is because your email address wasn’t confirmed. We have a wait list queue and people who drop out (and there will be people who drop out) will be substituted from the queue on a first come-first served basis. And if I have enough people on the wait list after mid-to-late January, I might be able to create another team that will be christened Misfit Toys.

So even if you’re not on a team right now … ride, ride, ride! I can’t promise, but there’s a good chance you will be.

You can still register. We use late registrants to substitute for people who register and then don’t show up. And this year, chuxtr is even talking about setting up a whole team for late registrants, if there are enough of them. Just make sure you follow all the steps at this link. In particular, if you register and don’t get an e-mail asking you to click on a link to confirm your e-mail address, you’ll need to e-mail me at freezingsaddles@freezingsaddles.x10host.co m.

I’ve never been on Team Slacker/Team Chopped Liver before. Those of us who registered and late and are not assigned to a team, should still show up the individual leaderboard? Or no?

No. You shouldn’t be on the leaderboard unless you’ve been blessed by the powers that be as an official player in FS. You’re on the wait list and assuming you get on a team, all your rides starting January 1st will be counted when you do appear on the leaderboard.

Right now, everyone on the Freezing Saddles 2019 Strava club is on the leaderboard, just for testing purposes. Once teams are assigned, those who are assigned to teams will be on the individual and team leaderboards. Team Slacker/Team Chopped Liver members will show up if you click on “People” at the top of the leaderboard, then “Friends of BAFS.” However, they will not be on the individual or team leaderboards.
