    A number of years ago (10? 12?) I would come across a fellow who placed a non-folding bike in a canoe and then towed the canoe behind the bike on land. I saw him once on the Mt. Ada hill in Alexandria when the canoe had gotten away from him. I often wonder if that experience caused him to rethink his commute as I have not seen him since.
