Nationals v. Miami Marlins9:30 – pre-ride coffee at Grace Street Coffee Roasters – 3210 Grace Street NW (Georgetown area)
10:15 – Rollout
10:40 – First scintillating historical stop
11:30 – Second incredibly interesting historical stop
12:00 – Third and final remarkable historical stop
12:45 – Arrival at Nationals Park bike valet
1:35 – first pitchNote that these historical stops are NEW AND IMPROVED! If you attended previous fan club rides, not to worry–you will not be bored with repeated information but instead will be flabbergasted by fascinating historical tidbits never previously heard on one of these rides.
The ride is approximately 15 miles and will include some unavoidable hills with a total elevation gain (and descents!) of 640 feet. Fan Club Rides are social rides at a moderate pace and we will stay together as a group.
Tickets are $20, which includes the ride, a seat in the shade with your bikey friends and a chance to win a fabulous prize!

LhasaCMParticipantI’m definitely a maybe for the ride, assuming I hit that in between spot where I have too much work that I need to be in the office Friday (and so have to stay in town), but not so much work that I can spare a few hours Sunday AM.

ParticipantSo its taken some wheeling and dealing, but Mr. Kitty and I are tentatively in for the ride portion. Hilariously our participation is dependent on wither or not we can be good kids and get our homework done before them. (He has a Portuguese final this week.)
