Someone started this petition a few days ago after the news of the pedestrian being struck and killed. And while details on that accident are still unclear, it shines a light on how dangerous this intersection continues to be. Sharing here because I didn’t know about the petition until this morning. It’s a shame such a tragedy had to happen.

A pedestrian was struck and killed on Columbia Pike on Monday morning near the Freedmans Bridge.
