    The audience and press all agree – “This is the closest to ABBA you’ll ever get.” ABBA The Concert brings one of the greatest pop phenomena back to life…

    If you’re interested in coming, buy your lawn tickets which are general seating and RSVP on this thread. This show will probably sell out so don’t wait too long to buy your tickets!

    The show starts at 8:00 and the doors open at 6:30. With a planned sell out, the lawn will be crowded so we’ll try to arrive close to 6:30. Let’s plan to meet up at the Vienna Whole Foods for picnic supplies early enough to leave around 6:00.

    One other thing to note: Wolf Trap shows are rarely canceled due to weather and the lawn seats are fully exposed. So be prepared if it rains. And really, what’s the chance of evening thunderstorms in August? 😎

    I bought tix tonight due to this posting. My plus 1 is tbd, however I plan on baking Steve one god awful cupcake as I feel like his post may have been angling for a sweet and delicious treat :)

    The only way to avoid outrageous add-on fees is to buy tickets at the box office. True for Wolf Trap, Birchmere, or anywhere that uses Ticketmaster or other services.

    Ticket bought! I’ve wanted to do a ride to Wolf Trap so this works out nicely, even if its 3.5 months away :)

    I posted this so long ago I had almost forgotten that the concert was almost here! Ok, I had forgotten and thanks to Fxbooks for reminding me that it’s this Sunday. If you haven’t bought your ticket, they are still available!

    We’ll leave the Vienna Whole Foods @ 6:00 to get to Wolf Trap with sufficient time to celebrate Steve O’s birthday! PM me if you need my cell number.

    Hey, just some friendly info… If you purchased lawn seats and the concert is not sold out you can likely exchange them for seats under cover for the difference in ticket price. So in other words, if you get there and it’s raining you can pay $10 to sit in the pavilion.
    I love riding to Wolf Trap for concerts! Last time I did it the ride home was all crickets, frogs and fireflies!

    Due to a crazy family emergency, I have a ticket but can’t make it since I’ll now be in Pittsburgh this weekend.

    If you want my ticket, let me know and it’s yours free. Just buy Steve O a happy birthday drink in exchange. And ask him about elephants. He knows allll about them now after receiving his birthday present from me last night ;-)

    Fxbooks and I are ready for a soggy but fun filled ABBA night! We’re leaving Falls Church around 5:15 and will be ready to caravan to Steve O’s party from the Vienna Whole Foods at 6:00!
