We need your views to support the PBL, and on two specific issues:
1) On the northbound side of Veitch, for the first 100 feet or so from Wilson, neither option has any protection for the bike lane. One option preserves parking and a door-zone bike lane; the other has a buffered bike lane. The County needs to hear that protected bike lanes need protection for the entire block — the door zone bike lane is unacceptable, and there’s no reason not to add bollards or planters to protected the buffered version.
2) Option 2 has really cool floating bus bays, which will minimize conflicts between bikes/buses/bus riders. We need folks to speak up to say that’s what we want built. (It will cost a little more, so they need folks to support it to justify the cost).
