Despite the irony, this really is the best decision.

Huge thanks to W&W and the rest of the HH committee for working with Bier Baron to ensure that we can celebrate soon!

    Enjoy the “winter” weather!

    Definitely the right call.

Today should’ve been the last day of Freezing Saddles.

Yes, from now on Freezing Saddles runs until the first post-winter snow or the beginning of the next Freezing Saddles, whichever comes first.

I really appreciate all the work you put in to accommodate my schedule. See you on the 9th.

Just went for a quick walk and it’s the right call. The roads are slush in Columbia Pike. I’m sure the Hinterlands are a mess.

Thanks to Cynthia who did a lot of behind the scenes work to consult other players before making a decision. Cynthia put a lot of energy and work into making happy hour happen.

Yeah, it’s getting bad in DC too. Right call, if disappointing. Everyone who can should go for a ride, though, so long as you can do it safely. Snow riding is a blast.

Judd – Where on the Pike do you live? I’m in Penrose.

He lives on that part that’s really crappy to bike to

Definitely the right call. While at the dentist around 8:30 I saw on the waiting room TV that Frederick already had 9 inches of snow.

Now I can just plow my way home after work instead of attempting that feat in the dark after multiple beers. Thank you W&W.

That doesn’t really narrow it down much since all of the Pike is really crappy to bike to or on or anything. [emoji41][emoji468]

We at least have cute kids on sleds:

Chuck: I’m near South Courthouse in Penrose. Plows have been coming through but lots of slush especially at intersections. The sidewalks are mostly ok at the moment.

I’ll probably sleaze on the side streets later today as soon as I brush off a CaBi.

We’re on South Wayne right next to Penrose Park. I’m watching Volta a Catalunya right now. Then will take advantage of snow day to replace my chain and cassette. After that, could be tempted to put the knobby wheel set on my MTB and do a snow sleaze.

You need to trade in your bike for this.
