    Hi, this is my first FS so I registered late as well, just two nights ago. I haven’t gotten a team assignment yet, but I’m hoping a last minute one comes through.

    Teams announcements occur at the Welcoming Happy Hour on January 10th. Preliminary information for happy hour can be found on the Washington Area Bike Forum at http://bikearlingtonforum.com/showth…-SAVE-THE-DATE! More information will be posted later on the forum.

    But he also told me about Freezing Saddles. I figure that makes things even.

    Just an FYI… Anyone who registered after December 26th will be (or already has been) placed on a waiting list of alternates. Currently, all the teams are full and even. If someone drops out or fails to contact their team within 48 hours of the opening happy hour, alternates will be placed on a team.

    Historically, at least a few folks never show up or drop out within the first week or so. So still come to the happy hour and meet some folks. Chances are high that you will find some new friends and can join in the fun even if you are not put on a team. Just ask Birru, who did that last year! 😎
