Arlington County Fair – Call for Volunteers and Info about free bike valet!

The Arlington County Fair is back! Billed as the biggest “Midway inside the Beltway”, it serves all your fair-food needs as well as offering tons of classic neon rides and slides and if you need something more novel, piglet racing.

Free Bike Valet
BikeArlington is partnering with Two Wheel Valet to offer free bike valet on the tennis courts near Irving Street and Second Street during the following times:
Friday, August 18: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday, August 19: 10:00 am – 11:00 pm
Sunday, August 20: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

Call for Volunteers
We’d love if you’d be able to join us as a volunteer! The Arlington County Fair is a great opportunity to talk to all different kinds of people about how neat it is to bike in Arlington.
Throughout the fair weekend (Fri., Aug. 18 – Sun., Aug. 20), we have several volunteer time slots available: please see full list here. Within each time slot, staff from BikeArlington or WalkArlington will also be onsite. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit our sign up page, select the date/time slot by clicking the ‘Sign Up’ button, then click the ‘Submit and Sign Up’ button (near the page bottom). We’ll have all materials already onsite, so volunteers would not need to bring anything.
