CCT and Canal Towpath Closed

WTOP reports weapons, ammunition discovered along C&O Canal:

I am told that both the CCT and the Canal Towpath are closed because of this. However, since the news media aren’t reporting that part of the story, it’s hard to know how to tell when they reopen.

WABA says now reopened, per Twitter.

WABA just tweeted that the tow path and CCT are reopened. Crazy stuff.

Thanks! I was not looking forward to the alternative, that slog up Wisconsin Avenue from Georgetown to the Cathedral.
