The Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) will be meeting at 7 pm on October 17, 2016 at the Bradlee Safeway Community Room, 3526 King Street, Alexandria, Virginia.

– Fund raising: more than $7,00 has been raised.– Thirty bikes purchased; on-bike classes start October 24th– An additional $3,500 needed for helmets, storage/security, pumps, tools, etc.

– George Washington Memorial Parking – Eldon Boes– Mari Lou Livingood, President of the Trust for the George Washington Memorial Parkway, is planning an event to promote use and enjoyment of the GWMP in conjunction with NPS. It will be held on April 15, 2017 at Daingerfield Island and Gravelly Point. WABA plans to participate. Eldon told Mari Lou that BPAC would likely be interested in participating to promote safe use of the MVT. - Public Comments
