ParticipantIf the weather isn’t miserable, my husband and I plan to attend and ride the 16 mile loop. He wants to try out his new carbon road bike, and is afraid of taking it out too far or too fast to start. I’ll attend anything that includes rest stops with food
I may wait to see how the weather will be before I pay and register us though. The weather reports right now vary from “it’ll be fine!” to “TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR WITH 7-10 INCHES OF RAIN AND HIGH WINDS”

ParticipantJust realized I forgot to add “proceeds benefit Phoenix Bikes” in the original post. Important detail!

ParticipantGreetings riders,
First, thank you so much for registering for the 2015 Arlington Fun Ride! I’m writing to inform you that, due to Hurricane Joaquin impacting our area Friday into Saturday and some permit considerations with the National Park Service, we are rescheduling the ride to Sunday, October 4th and shifting all times back 2 hours (main ride starts at 10am from Crystal City). This was a tough decision to make, but in the end, it was a necessary one to ensure the event’s success. We realize and understand that this new date/time may not work for your schedule, and if that is the case, you are entitled to a refund. Please respond directly to this email to request a refund. However, we hope that most of you can still join us!
Here’s to a great ride on Sunday – hope to see you then,
Meg Rapelye-Goguen & Henry Dunbar

Did you let someone know what is incorrect?

Well, you posted the flyer. I don’t have access to email, but I believe all of the times except the start in CC and the start of the KM ride are wrong. Unless the ride is going to start on the Pike before it starts in CC.

Thanks–we haven’t been involved in the planning so pointing out exactly what you think is incorrect is very helpful.

ParticipantIf you missed it, you missed out. A small an intimate Fun Ride, really felt like we were all riding together. Props to the team for putting it together!
