An injury that isn’t healing has forced me to offer my Rans Fusion ST.
This is a crank forward design – with many of the advantages of a recumbent, without the disadvantages ( low riding position, problems on hills, etc.)
I bought this bike a year ago after lower back and butt pain forced me to give up road bikes. It has a big seat, a relaxed but fully upright riding position, full size wheels and is extremely comfortable – I did a 200 mile/ 4 day ride in Florida in November with no discomfort. It is very efficient on level ground and pretty efficient on hills (but you can’t stand up and pedal, so real serious hill riders probably won’t like this). High quality components, and the step through design is very comfortable.
Here’s a link to the Rans Web site with the specs and pictures.

THese bikes are supposedly adjustable for all size riders – the seat post is angled and adjustable, the headset is adjustable. I am 5’9″ and I seem to be in the middle range of the adjustment.
This bike was purchased new from Vienna Bikes last summer and has been very well maintained; it went in for a general servicing after my November trip, and hasn’t been ridden since.
I bought it new for $1800; I will sell it for $1200.
Comes with the Rans back luggage rack.
