True. Although if they actually taught me how to properly tinker with various bikes, I would consider it part-time after my normal bills-paying job. I’ve always wondered why those types of shops don’t offer some form of apprenticeship. Sign some liability wavers and become free labor in return for learning how to perform bike maintenance. Seems plausable enough to me. I mean, you can pay a few hundred bucks to take the class and if you don’t do everything several dozen times, then promptly forget it.
