ParticipantSigned up…this is my first time with this ride, so we’ll see how it goes. I don’t ride in a fluorescent coat though so, just based on previous years’ photos, they may not let me participate.

ParticipantI’m in with SteveO for the 59 miler. Anyone interested to convoy with us from the WOD-Custis Junction to the House of Sweden?

ParticipantCiao Boomer, considering joining you guys to prove that I do, in fact exist.
Have yet to sign up though. Do you happen to have a link to an actual map of the ride?
A bit nervous that this might not entail HP loops… :p

WABA isn’t officially releasing the map beforehand, but you can find previous rides on Strava. I think if they make any changes to the route from year-to-year, they’re pretty minor. 2012-2014 look identical to me…

ParticipantI’m marshalling. I know there’s at least one other Inquisitor on the ride. For those who are wondering, yes, there is still room to ride; yes, they do still need marshals; yes, you should.

Another chance for a confirmed sighting?! Not at HP?? Here’s the registration link for the VASA ride; please note that this is a WABA members only ride, so join WABA before trying to register if you haven’t done so already. http://www.waba.org/events/rides/vasa-ride/

ParticipantI am marshaling the shortest distance. Need to get my bike legs back, I was a slacker all winter. I totally regret taking the winter off. Next year I will ride all winter.

Me too! Except I’m doing the middle route. But we can have a Team 2 toast with blueberry soup afterwards.

That would be great! Think about switching to the long course, we can take it nice and easy. I’m planning on sweeping, so you might actually want to ride faster than me, but if you’re off the back, I’ll be there with you!
