For those of us without garages or sheds, I thought I’d share this tip that a few people have found useful to protect floors and carpeting on wet days like today. I spread an inexpensive vinyl flannel-backed tablecloth (from the Dollar store) in my entrance area before I before I leave the house on wet days, then just roll the bike in and let it drip dry there after I get back. The tablecloth is much easier to fold up and store than the plastic tarp I used to use. I also use it when I’m cleaning my chain, etc. indoors.
