By the way, you don’t have to ride the whole 100 miles…this year the “100” means 100 miles, 100 kilometers, 100 miles (as a team), 100 minutes or 100% support for WABA’s Women & Bicycles.

My daughter still talks about the 11 laps she did on her trail-a-bike for the first HP100.

She came home from school one day indignant that her teacher clearly didn’t believe her claim that she rode her bike 33 miles.

We will be out of town this year, alas.

Quick question, before I post more details: can someone confirm that the play structure near the tip of HP still exists? Google street view shows moved Earth…

The Hains Point 100 gets Kidical: this SUNDAY, 12/21 10am — That’s right, come down to Hains Point this Sunday, ride some loops, support WABA’s Women & Bicycles, & add to the Kidical total. Come for the main roll out (10am) to join a kidical group, or just come when you can and add your miles to the total. Lots of give-aways and treats.

That was awesome! Glad I could make it down. The VWS team and I were there for a short while and I had a chance to put my nose in the wind for the Bikenetics guys for a few laps – hope that helped! Especially for Vin (I believe – I’m horrible with names) on the fixie leading the charge!!! Rock on –
