    I believe the official justification is “we want you to call so we can respond faster”. My take is there is no reason you can’t respond to an online trouble ticket just as fast a phone call, but I don’t get to be the decider.

    So to make a long story short, the only sanctioned outlets to report signal problems are the phone numbers.

    However, I bet if you emailed des@arlingtonva.us the information would make its way to the appropriate people… :)

    Thank you. I figured it was something silly like that. And thanks for responding to my query promptly even though I didn’t pick up the phone and call you.

    I’ve done this in the past with some success. I don’t know why they don’t just make a signals@ArlingtonVA.Us so those of us who send emails there don’t have to go back and forward them to des….
