My red-green affliction is mild, but I say return the darn thing and let the seller know why. Better yet, open a support call w/ NiteRider first so A) they directly incur costs due to their false documentation (and design flaw ) and
they’re more likely to learn from this and C) maybe offer you a reasonable fix.
I love the color green, but red/green and blue/green blindness are common enough that this is stupid. At least my camera companies get this, and use flashing vs. solid illumination to differentiate between charger states.
