New commute route for wife! (takoma park to central high school)

I can’t say a lot about biking in the area once you cross the Anacostia River, but from past experience I would say that the Benning Rd bridge over the Anacostia Freeway is a bit sketchy due to the lack of sidewalks and debris-filled shoulders. After crossing the bridge, if you then turn left onto Minnesota Ave and use the Marvin Gaye Trail, things should be a little nicer. Past the Marvin Gaye Trail, my experience riding in that area ends, so hopefully others can pick up the slack.
