And I do mean week. Really, when are we as a region going to up our game and celebrate a full week? Even tiny, frigid Milwaukee WI has Bike To a Work Week.

DC has a decent weeks worth of activities. Crystal City BID, for instance, runs a booth the entire week, handing out food and lights and various other swag. Definitely some good bike commuter trains that week!

This year, BTWD is Friday May 16, so BTWW will be the week ending the 16th.

Yeah, the CCBID did a great job the past two years. last year I got the jacket for perfect attendance and got to see dbb, oneeighth, and twowheels on more than one occasion. it was lovely. we should try to get more folks out this year and get a group shot at gravelly

I am new to the area and am happy to see that people are already starting to think about National Bike Month. My previous (very small) city had a huge cycling community and had a ton of great events planned for the month and especially for Bike Week, so I am excited to see that I can continue the tradition here in the DC area as well.

Is there any type of resource that might go over the Bike Week plans for the Arlington area that anyone can share?
