New trail hazard: deer hit by car then flying onto trail?

While it was a runner that was hit by the flying deer, it could have easily been a cyclist. This isn’t likely to happen again, but it’s pretty wild that it happened at all. Fortunately the driver and the runner were released from the hospital by the next day, so it doesn’t appear that either suffered life-threatening injuries. However, the deer did not survive the collision.
