Man that really sucks, you just healed from your last crash. I’m not superstitious but getting another bike is always a good idea. Get better soon.

Subby! I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you healing and pain relieving wishes. Take care and rest up. Don’t worry about anything, we still have three more months until Freezing Saddles.

Wow, I’m flabbergasted. Talk about bad luck. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I hope the hospital is able to patch you up quickly and the pain subsides quickly. Let us know if you want visitors or help; a lot of us have extra time on our hands now.

Jeez. Anyone wanna pick me up at work and drive me home? I just got the 100% clear from my Doc yesterday too.

Subby – heal quick and look forward to good riding once you’re back on the bike.

Thanks everyone. Really disappointed how many family and friends are asking me when I am going to quit biking.

Yeah, hi…I will never quit cycling. Ever. It’s who I am now.

Oh for heaven’s sake. If you had been in a car accident would they ask you when you were going to stop driving? If you slipped and fell in the shower would they ask you when you will stop bathing?

    Keep riding.

But please, heal up. It’s annoying to have someone bleeding on the trails. :-)

Glad to hear it though I must admit you’ve had an unusual amount of bad luck. Since trouble comes in threes I think you are finally out of the woods now.

Hopefully this little story will make you feel better:

My uncle broke his arm when he was a kid; he was in a cast for many weeks. On the day he got his cast off he was so excited when he got home that he dashed out of the car to run to the backyard to play. Unfortunately his older brother heard the car pull up and came walking around the side of the house and they collided. My uncle broke the same arm. So they got back into the car to revisit the doctor who had taken off the cast that morning to put on a new one. Family lore has it that the doctor was furious.

P.S. I still think you should wear a pumpkin for a helmet.
