I finally stopped and introduced myself to him. His name is Eugene, he’s from Austria and he says “the best exercise is repeated exercise”

So when you pass him on the trail, please yell a friendly hello to him. It might blow his mind that he’s semi-famous, but I think that would be just dandy.
