Shout out to 4KforCancer

Hi all,

I wanted to pass this along – A friend of mine since childhood’s father died of cancer last year. He had had chemo, an organ transplant and other surgeries but that wasn’t enough. So my friend’s younger sister Becky decided to ride across the country with the group 4kforcancer to raise money for the Ulman Cancer Fund for young adults.

She rides around her neighborhood a bit for transport, but in terms of touring and long distance riding she’s very new to this so if you want to offer any words of encouragement please feel free. What a way to introduce yourself to touring; with a 4,000 mile trip!

PS – It’s funny that I personally know 2 different people riding across the country at the moment, and right now they’re both in the western PA/eastern OH area. Man I am so jealous.
