Hi Rahul, so what type of riding do you do and if you commute from where to where?

I’m pretty sure he will be the first person to bike-commute from India to D.C. or Arlington.

(I’m suspicious about his motives too. None of his posts have anything to do with bikes or cycling whatsoever.)

Yeah, I think you guys are right. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt in case he was new to the area and not great at english, but it seems now he/it isn’t legit.

He’s clearly biking from India to DC and is too busy to respond to us right now.

Honest question: Who would win in a race? Someone riding on a cyclocross bike from India to D.C.? Or the hypothetical CaBi commuter riding from North Baltimore to Old Town Alexandria? Even with the ocean crossings, I do believe that the India-D.C. rider might finish first.

Sir i am basically from india and yaa like to enjoy long drive with my friends. mainly i Like highways NH11 near to my city

If you live in India now as you say, what purpose do have for posting on a cycling forum based in a city halfway around the world?

Disclaimer: I must admit that I am an active member of a forum that discusses long drives on highways in India using motor scooters and open-top convertible automobiles. This despite the fact that I own neither a motor scooter nor a convertible automobile and have never been to India. I do not have any plans to visit India in the immediate future either…

Wait a minute. I’m mistaken here. I momentarily confused BikeArlingtonForum for the India highway enthusiasts listserv/webchat.

Maybe someone can tell me otherwise, but I don’t think anything special is gained by a spammer by posting messages on the forum? I wonder if some foreigners use forum boards to practice their English?
