    FYI — Here are some rides for folks of varying speed/distance ambitions that Laurie has scheduled out of Proteus in College Park. Check her website or Facebook page for changes or weather. -Jeff

    This coming weekend:
    April 13 — 10am pastry ride to Hyattsville (slow-ish pace, suitable for all), 12 miles, flat, easy pace.
    April 13 — 1pm intermediate training ride in Beltsville farms/Patuxent Refuge, WB&A trail, exact route TBA, but looking to do ~ 50 miles at about 15mph — possible food stop at Old Line Bistro in Beltsville or New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt on the return.
    April 14 — NEW TIME 10am Ride to Baltimore to return the coveted KSR trophy to the Visionary Arts Museum (75-80 miles RT, surprisingly nice roads)
    April 14 — for those of you not riding to Baltimore and back: Movie @ AFI in Silver Spring “Where the Trail Ends” Movie starts at 8pm; we’ll leave from the shop around 6:30. Check out the trailer http://www.afi.com/silver/films/events.aspx#where More info to come….

    Later in April/early May:
    April 20 — Pedal for Pooches Ride in Charles Town, WV. This is not a shop ride per se, but Constantia and Sean do this ride every year and highly recommend it. We have some flyers at the shop.     April 28 — Tentative, time TBA — Tim Johnson Ride on Washington https://www.facebook.com/TJROW Ride from College Park to DC with the crowd! (free)
    May 4 — Tentative 7am SHARP! — Ride to Baltimore for the 2013 Kinetic Sculpture Race (75-80 mile RT)

    Heads-Up! We changed the departure time for Sunday’s (April 14) ride to Baltimore from noon to 10am. So 10am departure, and return around 4pm, with lunch at the Visionary Arts Museum. -Jeff
