    This proves walking is more hazardous than cycling. It’s time we rip up the sidewalks and put in cycle tracks/lanes. It’s a public health issue!!!!

    Oh, and peds should be wearing helmets obviously.

    I found that odd too – and the advertising rationale sounds reasonable too…until I flipped back through a couple back issues (very unscientifically I might add) and didn’t see a single car advertisement. In fact, the Economist is remarkably light on ads in general.

    I’d assumed that was bundled in “accidents”, because there’s really nothing you can do to reduce or avoid auto collisions, don’t you know?
