    Come get a sweet new ride at our final Big Bear Cafe sale of 2012! Phoenix Bikes and Bikes for the World will host a used bike sale Saturday, Dec. 8, 10am-2pm, at 1700 1st Street NW Washington, DC.

    We’ll have road and mountain bikes, cruisers, hybrids, and possibly even a tandem. They’re piling up in our tiny Arlington shop and we’ll price them to move. Our fellow NoVa nonprofit Bikes for the World will sell some of the high-end road bikes that are less useful in the developing areas they ship to.

    My experience is that bikes tend to sell fast at these Big Bear sales, so advice to everyone is to get there early if you want to snag a decent used bike!
