Much as I pour over Sheldon Brown’s site I apparently never read to the bottom of this page.

I had four MiniDisc players over the years. None of them are in working condition. My Raleigh 1980 ( 1979 according to the hub date ) Tourist works very nicely and looks to be ready to go another decade and perhaps outlast me. One of these days I’ll make it to the Tweed ride as the token non-hipster.
