I’ll spend all year thanking you each individually, but I thought I’d thank you collectively for a great year of cycling, advocacy and inspiration. Y’all are great for the community and great for cycling. It makes me happy to have such a dynamic group.

I can’t begin to thank the organizations Bike Arlington, goDCgo and WABA for all that they do. The people that I’ve met and worked with over the last year have been amazing at creating the inspirational fuel that keeps me going.

Please enjoy the season, turn a pedal and lift a glass…. not necessarily in that order.

You all have homework: Find some way, be it ever so humble or small, to inspire someone to ride… even if it is just a little. It is better if it is a person that you don’t know and may never see again. :D As always, I don’t ask y’all to do anything that I don’t try to do every day of the year. Trust me, the rewards are wayyyyyyyy beyond the effort it takes to do this.

    I love y’all!

    Dirt.

    You’re welcome.

A big thanks to all the great local cycling bloggers out there who inspire with good stories, challenges and random group ride ideas. They really help to keep the focus on keeping cycling fun, while other groups focus on the not as fun things (laws, safety, rigors of daily commuting, etc…).

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!

What happens if we turn the season, lift a pedal and enjoy a glass instead?
