    If you want to be sure, you could put it in a stroller or refrigerator box. But you’ll probably be fine.

    Someone was carrying a wheel on the Yellow line yesterday during rush hour, t’wasn’t a problem. :)

    I don’t see why carrying a wheel is different than carrying any of the thousands of ridiculous things I see other folks carrying. Bicycles are prohibited but bicycle parts are not.

    Thanks guys. No stroller or refrigerator box, but I made it home with only a few odd looks (that I noticed). I guess I don’t ride metro enough to see all the oddities people carry. Personally, I always think of the poor abandoned bikes without wheels, and am afraid of people thinking I’d stolen a wheel. I donno, just seems odd to me, but it was the most practical for me.
