    Light and Motion
    Dinotte
    Gemini Bike Lights
    Exposure Lights
    Lezyne
    Lupine
    Magicshine

Also the bigger players, like Planet Bike, Cateye, Topeak, etc all make lights.

I’ve heard good things about cygolite but haven’t tried one yet.

funny you should ask, I just posted this link:

to the big batch of bike links in the bikes and equipment forum

Personally, I really like my Light and Motion vis360, the lumens are low but the visibility it provides is important to me. I have a Cygolite on my bars for when I need some light down the path, and it has been superb as well. I would suggest that you purchase a USB rechargeable light. They’re a bit more expensive now, but will save you money in the long run. They’re also much more convenient to charge than having a recharger and rechargeable batteries that you could lose.

I’ve run various Niterider lights for years. No serious complaints. (I didn’t like the TriNewt switch on the battery, but that’s no big deal.) Excellent service when I’ve needed it.

I had a Cygolite years ago and it was not bad. No real complaints, it just was not as good as the Niterider Digital Pro 12E I had at the time.

Personally, I would stay away from the companies where lights is just one thing they do, such as Topeak, Blackburn, etc. unless it was for a rear red light. (Something it seems anyone can make.) I had a Blackburn System X4 (or X6) and was not overly impressed. Among other things, the switch failed in a couple of months and I had problems with the case. It didn’t seem like it was meant to be used every day and last for years. I had Trek light, on one bike, which quickly developed mounting problems and did not focus light well.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Exposure’s lights and may pick one of them up at some point.

I have been using a Cygolite MityCross for years and love it. Had a problem with one battery and they replaced it long after warranty for a very small charge.. good service folks always a call away. Just purchased a Knog 4V Pulsar rear light, BRILLIANT! Planes are now trying to land on my back. Super bright, USB charge, VERY easy to attach….. best rear light I have used. I also have a Blackburn blinky on my backpack which seems bright enough and has never failed, although redundant now with the Knog on my seat post.
