Wow, If I had a fraction of those skills I’d remain upright more! No more splats :p

Oh great, now we’ll see Dirt riding across the 14th St Bridge on top of the fence.

I’d ride any bike like that if I had those skills.

Yeah I saw that but it’s a bike specific WD-40 product, I think.

It’s actually a great cleaner, you just wouldn’t want to leave it on your bike because it leaves a residue that will attract dust and dirt (lowercase d) like crazy.

It’s actually primarily composed of Stoddard Solvent aka Mineral Spirits. I now use odorless mineral spirits almost exclusively for cleaning my bike, and have yet to find a downside. It is mild enough to be harmless to just about any finish, it cuts through grease better than water-based degreasers, desiccates water, evaporates quickly and completely leaving no residue, and when followed up with lube it will assist the lube in flowing into moving parts.

I had the same reaction… “Arrrghhhh!!! Please no! Make the bad girls stop!!!”

Personal foul: Illegal use of carbon fiber and carbon-fiber abuse. Including the WD-40.

But the riding was pretty cool.

Um… well, they were a primary sponsor… and who knows how many bikes he destroyed…

    :)

It’s some seriously sick riding, and I came on tonight with the intent to post a link… glad someone else did!

Can someone explain to me how he managed to not slide while going down the rock face? I mean think about it, almost everyone here has gone down on a boardwalk at some point and that’s flat. Does he have special tires? If so, I want them – badly!!!

If you watch closely, you will note that the tires are significantly under-inflated. You try to do that stuff with 110 lbs and you will be popping balloons.

Yeah, it might be a road frame, but that bike is still tricked out for trials. Despite what they say, it’s not at all the same bike that Bradley Wiggins would ride.
