    Dirt.

time to get a bubble machine! Those do remove skunk scent, right?

When my oldest was about 8, he took the trash out. Sitting in the trash cans, of course, was a family of skunks. He came running in to the house yelling that he’d been sprayed. The stench was SO strong, it took a good 15-20 seconds to even register it. It took about a week to get the smell out of everything. I had to throw away a lot of my BDUs (army camo uniform) and other clothes because the stink just wouldn’t come out of them. If you’ve never been sprayed or been around someone that has, consider yourself very lucky. It’s amazingly awful.

I had a dog that got skunked once. He wasn’t a happy pooch.

No — she was a super hyper just-beyond-puppy at that point, so even if we’d been so inclined, we probably would have dismissed the idea. If I recall correctly, she was going to the kennel a couple of days later while we went on our honeymoon, so we just got her in early and outsourced the clean up job.

I hope that’s the bride. Otherwise, faux paws wearing white.

Speaking of bad influences, as we left Rocklands on Saturday, my two-year-old said that she wanted to spend more time with our new friends (Pete, Mark, Megan, Kim, ). She wanted to invite you over after the nap. I believe the invitation was conditioned on bringing the leftover mac-and-cheese…

Your 2-year-old was so amazingly beyond cute that we’ll bring her mac and cheese. :D That was a lot of fun.
