Welcome back to the fold. Wow, to do a century out of the gate inthe rain is insane/impressive. Hope the body isn’t protesting too much today.

It’s great to hear from you.

Sir, you are completely insane. ;)

Yes, confirmed I still “got it” and that I’m also completely insane. What could be better?

Sunday I did a 100 mile organized ride in La Plata. That wasn’t insane. That was just stupid.

In other words, emergency surgery did wonders for your cycling?

And Sir, I expect you are fully recovered or are you aiming for a little double century action?

I am hoping (for my own pride and self respect) that the surgery was of the “Million Dollar Man” variety and Jim now has legs made from hydraulic pistons and was given Jacques Anquetil’s heart. Geez, either that or I am the biggest wimp in the world…. seriously, welcome back Jim, way to crush inertia!

More like the 25 pounds I lost when I was in the hospital…

That appears to be coming back as well, though :(

I think we are all just happy to have you back, 25 pounds up or down doesn’t matter.

    Ride strong.

    Welcome back.
